Empowering STEM Educators to Ignite the Next Generation of Innovators
A. Program Overview
The myFlowlabTM Certified STEM Educator program in collaboration with University Technology PETRONAS, Computing Department, is a comprehensive “Train the Trainer” initiative designed to create a global network of highly skilled digital STEM educators and Technopreneurs that able to deliver dynamic Digital STEM classes and workshops globally for learners aged 9 and above.
Using the myFlowlabTM resources, the STEM Exploration book, mySTI accredited algorithm programming software tool, FlowLogic 6 and Arduino UNO microcontroller-based STEM KIT, educators will learn to facilitate hands-on, minds-on physical computing activities that bridge Technology, Engineering, and Applied AI with core Science and Mathematics curricula.
myFlowlabTM Educators will be prepared to build and Innovate foundational functional prototypes real-world system from simple LEDs to Robotics, IoT, and Integrated Systems with Applied AI—to instill the knowledge and competencies which will enable them to deliver the same to their students, enabling them to see how Science and Math with integrated Engineering and Technology come to life, while simultaneously cultivating essential 21st-century skills such as Complex Problem-solving skills, Design Thinking, Computational Thinking, Critical Thinking, Collaboration and social skills.
The myFlowlabTM Certified STEM Educator program is built upon a foundation of global credibility. Our learning content is meticulously crafted with reference to the esteemed frameworks of the Global STEM Alliance and the International Labour Organization (ILO), ensuring we deliver world-class, industry-relevant education.
The Educators will complete 2 Assessment and a Final project to be certified with a formal certification of completion “myFlowlabTM STEM Educator Level 1/2/3/4/5”, jointly awarded by Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) and myFlowlabTM Education network.
